Please forgive me, I went to the New Kids on the Block/Backstreet Boys concert on Tuesday night….and it was AWESOME.

Before NKOTBSB took the stage, some band named Red Midnight and Matthew Morrison of Glee performed — completely welcomed by this Gleek!

And then….

{Boy Band Heaven}

{Jordan Knight – NKOTB}

{AJ McLean – BSB}

I must mention that all nine of them were in fantastic shape. Like, wow. For example, Exhibit A — Donnie Wahlberg, age 42.

{Donnie Wahlberg – KNOTB}

{Brian Littrell – BSB}

As expected, both bands performed all their popular songs, including a new song by both groups entitled Don’t Turn Out the Lights.

{Confetti filled end}

Even in my mid twenties, I still found myself in complete awe of the two groups. All age groups were represented, from teenagers to the original New Kids on the Block fans in all their early 90s gear. Regardless if you’re a fan or a mega hater — these two groups forever have a place in music history, and in the hearts of millions of screaming (mid twenties to mid forties) girls (and boys).

And yes, I got to party with Nick Carter and Howie D. from the Backstreet Boys at their after party at Club15. Be jealous.

So, don’t be afraid to turn up your old New Kids on the Block or Backstreet Boys music extra loud, and keep craving what you love —

    You weren’t lying about Donnie. Wow. I’m going to go workout now.

    We almost went to the show but decided against it. Looks really fun though – great photos! I wish I could have seen NKOTB back in the day (I was more of an *NSYNC girl myself).

      I was also an *NSYNC girl! I can only hope they have a comeback tour. :fingerscrossed: #iwantyouback
