Office Inspiration

August 12, 2011

My new-found obsession with Pinterest has me seeing a lot office spaces that I like. Which, in turn leaves me thinking about what I would put in an office. Below are just a few pieces that I adore and would love to see in my [someday] office.

{one} Abstract Landscape 8 by Enye Yang. Love the colors and the asymmetrical feel.

{two} Sharpies. While I still use the dependable black sharpie often, I like the bright colors on a post-it note!

{three} Knock Knock Note Pads. These hilarious note pads and stickies keep a desk feeling cheerful – a welcome break to those not so fun tasks.

{four} Planner. All you kids and your fancy iCal. I stick to paper when planning my days, however old school it is. This teal leather calendar keeps all my plans in one place, in a classy way.

{five} Moustache Clips. These quirky clips keep all my papers together without being mundane.

{six} Orange Lamp Base. This vintage lamp base is so bright, yet so simple.

{seven} Slinky. Genius use of that ever so entertaining toy with a professional purpose. For a girl with not quite enough cards to fill  a Rolodex, this easy alternative sits nicely on a desk, reminding me not to take life so seriously!

{eight} Reclaimed Pine Desk. I just adore the rough look of this desk, as well as the size. Perfect in a polished room to give it that eclectic feel.

{nine} Office Chair. The classic elegance of wingback chair, the practicality of wheels.

I’m trying to use Google calendar – I really am! I just realllllly enjoy my paper planner. I’ve used Moleskine’s for four years now and absolutely adore them. Just ordered my 2011/2012 (they’re 18 months)!
