Randolph Street Market
My road trippin’ weekend landed me in Chicago for the Randolph Street Market. A flea market, filled to the brim with ‘old stuff”. My pickin’ partner was Sarah, who happens to be the wife of an actual ‘picker’ – you know the people who find old things way below their value, then sell them for what they’re worth. Being terribly afraid of any sort of confrontation, I am awful at haggling prices. Unacceptable to Sarah, she forced me to do it at least once.
It went something like…
Me: Would you accept $10 for this?
Lady: No, it’s $15.
So much for that…but Sarah was striking ’em down left and right. I may have a little bit more to learn from that gal.
Where is this market? I live in Chicago. This looks amazing!
All the info is here. I highly suggest checking it out, especially if you live in Chicago!

Thanks!
Loves!
I was just in Chicago, visiting my brother. I would have loved to have gone to something like this (I did stumble upon a super cute “Upscale Garage Sale”) while I was there. It would be amazing to go with someone who is not afraid to haggle- I haven’t gotten my haggling nerves yet, either, so I’ve had pretty much the same conversation you had with the seller. Love the name of your blog, by the way!
