Flowers to the People!

I had the pleasure of meeting Bridget while wondering around Cherokee Street one sunny afternoon. I stopped into her floral shop, Flowers to the People, in the Cherokee neighborhood to take a peek around and left with the most gorgeous bouquet of flowers. It was then that I decided everyone who didn’t already know about Bridget needed to.

It might’ve been her exuberant personality, or her ability to whip up the prettiest mix of florals I ever did see, that drew me in – but it was when she told me her favorite flowers to look at are Ranunculuses, that sealed the deal for me (that’s my favorite too!). Bridget. Is. Rad.

Bridget’s summer floral tip…

“I think that a pretty bouquet does not have too many ingredients. Keep it to 3-4 flower styles and 3-4 colors. Even go monochromatic and keep it simple.”

Swing by Flowers to the People next time you’re in need of something pretty for yourself (or someone else). I promise you’ll leave that shop happy!

I love her store! I stumbled across it just weeks after it opened with my mom and bought some plants (which are sadly, no longer with us. It’s my fault, not Bridget’s). Such a delightful space.

Bridget is fantastic! She’s doing my wedding flowers this September and I could not be more excited! 🙂
