Two Years!

Whoa. My brain is still trying to wrap itself around the fact that I’ve been writing for City in a Jar for two whole years. What started a creative outlet for me has grown into something people look forward to reading, and for that I cannot be more grateful. This hobby has even been used as a portfolio to land me a job!

I still find a wild amount of satisfaction in brainstorming ideas for posts and getting to meet all sorts of people as a result of discovering gems in this city (and sometimes other cities). I get to collaborate with other talented folk. Ben Vogelsang, Chris Willingham, Golden Photographic, and the team behind Created Space have been amazing in capturing photos and videos for City in a Jar and I look forward to the next year of working together!

Finally, I am so very grateful for you, the reader. Without someone to continuously read all my ramblings, there wouldn’t be much point in sharing. So, thanks for that.
