Dinner in the Garden

Dinner-in-the-Garden

I wish I could take credit for this brilliant idea, alas Julie of Blissoma spotted it here. I still got in on all the action when Julie invited me to help!

The concept (based on For Reals Meals) was so graciously grabbed from Jessica Murnane of One Part Plant . The idea was to invite people who maybe wouldn’t know one another and share a meal together. The location was perfect – a community garden Julie oversees – and the meal was ahhhhhmazing. Julie filled the table with goods picked from the garden we sat next to. All the recipes will start popping up over on Julie’s blog soon. I am still thinking about that fried polenta and mustard green pesto.

It was a  lovely evening spent making new friends, eating a wonderfully fresh meal, and sipping on tasty cocktails. I hope we get to do it again soon, with a new invite list!
